Grace complained that it was too meaty. Otherwise, it was a good dish, just took a little longer to bake.
Wanted to document this frying fact: The ratio of hot oil to food put in really makes a difference. The brown falafel was cooked by putting in as many falafel patties as I could at a time, around 8. The dark brown falafel had only 4 cooked at a time. Notice the difference.
