French Fries – frozen

Figured out how to deep fry frozen french fries. Bring oil to ~350 F, put small batches of fries in. DO NOT CROWD. It will splatter lots, but you’re putting ice and water into hot oil. It’s not spattering because it’s too hot, it’s spattering because of water.
Take out after 2-3 minutes of frying. Double fry if necessary. Sprinkle immediately with salt and pepper so that it sticks to the fry oil.
