20170620 cupcakes
Made cupcakes for the first time by myself. Used strawberry box mix. It does taste better with butter and milk. Err on the side of undercooking it — no one likes overbaked cake. Check the cake in less time than the box says.
Marscapone tastes good, but it does not make for good frosting. It curdled on me, and does not have enough structure.
Grace says that box mix isn’t that good, and that it’s just as easy to make cake from scratch. Maybe I’ll try this next time.
